This holiday actually came to be because of the TV series Parks and Recreation. The episode “Galentine’s Day” actually aired a decade ago, in 2010. Although it started as a fictional holiday, it has gained quite a lot of traction in the real world.
Typically, Galentine’s Day is celebrated on the 13th of February. This day is all about celebrating the love you have for your girlfriends. It doesn’t matter whether they’re single or not, shower them with love and attention.
