There are many wonderful waterfalls in North Bali, and Banyumala Twin Waterfall is one of them. It is hidden down a narrow road. Drive cautiously, as the roads aren’t in the best condition. It has two cascading waterfalls to see, about 10 minutes walk down a hill from the parking lot. The scale is much smaller than Sekumpul Waterfall, but this area is a peaceful swimming spot.

The Buyan and Tamblingan Lakes

When you are on the way to visit Banyumala Twin Waterfall, you will drive through Jl Raya Pancasari/ Jl. Munduk Wanagiri road. Following that road, there are many vantages points to see the Buyan and Tamblingan Lakes from above. Try to stop and enjoy the greenery of the forest, mountains and lakes. Remember to snap a picture, that will make a good wallpaper!

During your stop, you can take pictures with a large iguana and a huge bat for 30,000 IDR . Be careful if you have food since monkeys are present as well.

Ulun Danu Beratan Temple

The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple in Bedugul, Bali, is one of the island’s biggest tourist attractions in addition to Garuda Wisnu Kencana. Banjar Hot Springs

The Banjar hot springs in northern Bali are one of the most popular destinations for both Indonesian locals and foreign tourists. How to get to North Bali

• Ride a motorbike. You can wander around Bali on a motorbike for less than $21. Motorbike are available for rent for 60,000 IDR to 300,000 IDR ($4.20-$21 USD). Unless you are experienced motorbikers, do not take this option, as you may get high chance of accident risk.
• Hire Drive for a day. Having a driver was the greatest investment for your trip. You wouldn’t to deal with navigating the windy and narrow roads, so hiring a driver was the best choice. The cost ranges from $35 to $46 USD.

Best Time to Visit North Bali

The months of April, May, September, and October are the optimum time to visit Bali. While the island will still be crowded during these months, they are on the shoulder of the high season and will not be as busy (or as expensive) as June, July, and August, when the island is at its busiest. There are a lot of special events going on during these months, and the weather is wonderful except for the occasional rain shower.
