Upon staying at Villa Rumah Lotus Ubud, Bali, you would instantly feel that every single thing we do is just for you to enjoy. You would have one butler or house manager who is in charge of any of your arrangements, e.g., tours, activities, parties, etc. Besides, this butler will also be your driver and tour leader or guide. If you decide to take a bike tour around Ubud’s vast green paddies.
Besides, if you fancy local delicacies, our cooks will be there to help. You need to finalize the arrangements 3-4 hours in advance, allowing the cooks to prepare fresh ingredients and serve the dishes to you on time. Or else you can arrange to prep and cook by yourselves with the assistance of our skillful cooks.
If swimming and bars are your thing. This villa has provided a huge infinity pool with a bale and bar close to the pool for any of your relaxing moments by the pool. 2 beautiful days in Ubud
I spent 2 beautiful days there with my sons.I must admit it was pretty short we should have spent there at least 1 week. The setting of the villa in the middle of the rice fields gives a great feeling of relaxation and disconnection from everyday hustle. We arrived evening ng nice recommendations . Yanti and Dewi with their smiling y morning cooked breakfast to our every need . Their service was impeccable.
The rooms were spacious and clean equipped with torches mosquito repellent and nets. Beautiful architecture quiet setting appealing pool all the ingredients to be distressed.
It was an amazing 2 days we felt so relaxed specially with the conversations we had with Madee and exchange about both our cultures. Whenever you think of visting Ubud you should definitely book there a stay to remember :))))

Beautiful villa with your own private pool and space. It was such a huge place for the 4 of us! Drive to Ubud town was 20 mins.
Amazing place to relax and enjoy Ubud
We booked the Villa Rumah Lotus for a week’s stay just outside Ubud and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it.
The location is pretty much perfect – outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud itself but close enough that you can get into town quickly for a meal or other activity. It’s also a great location to explore the local attractions like the Tirta Empul temple or just the local villages. Being set right in the middle of the rice fields gives a great feeling of connection to the country.
The villa itself is an amazing piece of architecture. The pool is an obvious standout feature – huge and a wonderful place to cool off when you get back from whatever you decide to do with your day. But the rooms are also very nicely laid out and the main living/dining area is incredibly spacious with wonderful views out over the pool into the rice paddies. The garden is generous and immaculately maintained.
The staff are all lovely friendly people as well as very professional and helpful. They made our stay comfortable in every way but also respected our privacy. From cooked breakfasts to helping book activities they’re on top of everything.
My recommendation: rent a scooter to get around the local area (although Made is also very happy to drive you around if that doesn’t suit).
Can’t imagine a better place to stay in Bali!
A stay that will heal your soul
A tranquil setting deep in the green countryside but close enough to Ubud to provide a great range of activities. Three of us had the entire two-bedroom villa to ourselves so we could swim, read, practise Tai Chi at our leisure. The staff were always there or contactable and their service was impeccable. They helped us rent scooters so that we could explore nearby villages and temples. Made gave excellent advice on where to eat and what to see and drove us around as requested. The transition to and from the airport was arranged by him and was seamless. After a week with such a warm welcome and introduction to the culture and people of Bali, we were totally de-stressed and completely charmed. Must go back, and soon!
Perfect stay near Ubud – all the good sides of Bali, without the inconvenience
This was a (too) short stay to conclude a trip to Flores, and we could not have asked for a better place.
From the booking process to the flawless follow-up, the team at Red Lotus was super friendly and accommodating. The villa is perfectly suited for a family of 4 or 5, and the photos in the description do not do it full justice. It is in perfect condition, with a great pool, and a truly amazing and quiet setting.
The entire team, starting with Made, was fantastic, always willing to help and make our stay as pleasant as possible.
Their recommendations for activity (trekking, biking…), the home cooking, the services (massages, etc) were all top-notch.
Close enough to Ubud, but not too close to suffer from the congestion and mass-tourism flaws of the place.

Amazing!
If you’re holidaying in Ubud then this is the place to stay.
Absolutely beautiful villa with amazing views of the rice fields. Lounging in the pool looking out upon the greenery is so relaxing. The only sounds are the local wildlife of chickens and nighttime frogs and geckos.
The layout and style of Rumah Lotus is done so well. Extensive terrace that runs the length of the villa and plenty of comfortable chairs to admire the view. Great area to watch the storms and rain too. Bedrooms and bathrooms are at one end to ensure privacy.
The staff (Made, Yenti, Dewi and Gusti) made our stay so comfortable and memorable. Tasty delicious breakfast, lunch and dinners prepared by Yenti and Dewi. Made drove us around and ensured we saw all the recommended sights and answered any questions we had during our stay. Gusti was our security for the evenings keeping us safe and secure. They all couldn’t do enough for my husband and I and our twin toddler boys (who loved nothing more than being in the pool or running around the open space). The villa was kept clean and tidy too. Mosquito repellent was used every night which helped as we were hardly bitten by the pesky critters!
Only 15 minutes from Ubud town, monkey forest and the elephant safari park.
We were very sad to have to leave. The boys missed all the staff and mentioned them often after we’d gone. We hope to be back very soon.

Tranquil and great place to be for family holiday and mindful retreat
I went to Ubud for the quick gateway with few of my friends. The minute you stepped in the living room, we were mesmerized by the scenery and the tranquility of the place. We felt so much at home, we decided to laze around, sat at the gazebo enjoying our in-house hospitality service provided by the housekeepers. Their service is one of the good reason to come back to the villa. We enjoyed the scenery of padi field from the room, the pool side, living room and dining room. We spend time swimming, eating local fruits and local cuisine. The hospitality of the housekeeper made us feel so much at home. I will certainly come back for gateway with my family. Thank you for awesome service, pak Made, bu Dewi and bu Yanti.
Stunning villa with outstanding staff in an amazing location
We had a wonderful time in the villa where we stayed for 3 nights. The villa is spacious, gorgeous and its location is amazing being right in the middle of rice fields. It is about 30min from the Center of Ubud but it is an enjoyable drive through nice scenery thanks to the friendly driver Made. The staff was very professional, friendly, attentive and dedicated. I highly recommend the place and we’re very much looking forward to staying there again in the future when we go back to Bali.

We stayed two weeks during august, The villa is located in a rice field so we enjoyed this panorama all day long and never got tired of it!
It had everything we needed and more. Located in a small village around Ubud, this typical balinese villa offered a very confortable bedroom and a massive communal area, and last but not least a huge infinity-pool in a beautiful exotic garden.
The staff were the real highlight and made our stay so pleasant, Yanti & Dewi’s cooking was amazing along with Made’s unbelievable hospitality and knowledge of the Ubud area so we really felt at home, the security was a nice touch and also a great guy. We want to take this opportunity to thank them all again for their kindness and their help because without them the villa would have not been the same !
We had a wonderful time at Rumah Lotus so could not recommend it enough.

We stayed 5 nights with two couples, the villa is beautiful with comfortable beds a massive communal area, huge pool in a great setting in a rice field. It had everything we needed and more. The staff were the real highlight and made our stay so pleasant, Yanti & Dewi’s cooking was amazing along with Made’s unbelievable hospitality and knowledge of the Ubud area we really felt at home, the security was a nice touch and also a great guy. Could not recommend Rumah Lotus enough, we will certainly be back.

The beautifully appointed villa with its lovely lush grounds overlooking the rice fields, the Zen pool and outdoor gazebo and the wonderful and warm service from Made, Yanti, Dewi, Gusti and Ketut made this an outstanding stay for us and our best in Bali.
We only stayed 2 nights at the villa but everything was absolutely perfect. The pictures are great but the reality is even better. Also, Made and his team are really lovely people who were listening to every demands before we even ask! The services are just great, you will feel like a palace.
