There is a River flowing between the villages of Guwang and Sukawati, and you can walk through the river for a short time to discover the hidden canyon. Bali Hidden Gems: Kanto Lampo Waterfall

The Kanto Lampo waterfall in Ubud is unlike any other waterfall in Bali. It runs down a rocky cliff, breaking up as it goes, unlike other waterfalls, which are impossible and even dangerous to get under. The best part is to get directly under the water. To get directly under the fall, you can hike up a couple of rocks and take a natural shower in a flowing stream of water.

Getting to Kanto Lampo Waterfall will take 20 minutes to get there from Ubud. You can either rent a scooter and explore all the waterfalls and tourist spots in and around Ubud, or rent a car with a driver for the day. This is a great alternative, as the driver will know where to take you and when to go to avoid the crowds. It is best to go early in the morning to feel the morning sun at Kanto Lampo Waterfall. Tukad Cepung Waterfall

Another lesser-known waterfall that you may have missed is the Tukad Cepung Waterfall. It’s a large waterfall that flows into a large pond that is great for swimming. This is as close to nature as you can get! You will have to climb a flight of steps to get to this beauty, so gear up accordingly. Once you walk down the steps, remember to look up – cliffs encircle your surrounding with the waterfall flowing from a river above. The waterfall is located 28km from Ubud, around 1-hour drive. This waterfall is also a great spot to swim, and you can see a few fish in the pond near the waterfall. Did you know the water in it is very clean and pure, which makes it a great place to relax on a hot day.

Pinggan Village

Located in Bangli, the region of Bali’s volcanos, this spot is often overlooked, but absolutely worth a visit! Especially for photographers. The view from Pinggan Village is so amazing and breathtaking that you might question whether your eyes are playing tricks on you! The surrounding mountains and hills make the view even more stunning and impressive.

Bali Botanic Garden is a peaceful place that has much to offer. It includes a wide range of plants, trees, and flowers from all over the world, as well as some rare flora species that are native to Indonesia. The gardens also house various temples, statues, and cultural buildings, making it a well-rounded place to visit.
